How to get your files
These documents are stored in Google Docs, so you always have the most up-to-date version. You have two options, depending on how you want to use them.
Option A -- Download to your computer. Open the document, then go to File >> Download and choose your preferred format: Microsoft Word (.docx), PDF, or plain text. The file saves to your downloads folder.
Option B -- Save a copy to your Google Drive. Open the document, then go to File >> Make a copy. This creates your own editable version in your Google Drive. You can rename it and edit it freely -- changes you make will not affect the original.
Tip: If the link takes you straight to a "Make a copy?" prompt, just click the blue button. Your copy will be ready instantly.
If you see a message saying you need permission to edit -- you do not need it. Use Option A or Option B above instead.
What to do first
Before you work through any of the other tools, complete the Startup Assessment. It takes about ten minutes and evaluates your concept across the five commercial dimensions that determine whether a business idea is viable: market opportunity, competitive positioning, business viability, risk profile, and revenue model sustainability.

The output tells you specifically where the concept is strong and where the gaps are. Once you have that picture, the validation framework and feasibility templates in the toolkit become targeted exercises rather than generic checklists -- you will know exactly which dimensions need more work before you commit further resources.

The honest question every founder should ask before building
The most expensive mistake at this stage is not a wrong answer—it is building before you have verified that you are asking the right questions. The founders who reach the launch stage with the best chance of success are not necessarily the ones with the best ideas. They are the ones who tested their assumptions early, adjusted based on the evidence, and made the go/no-go decision with data rather than enthusiasm.
The toolkit gives you the frameworks to do that rigorously. If the assessment flags significant gaps in market opportunity or competitive positioning, that is not a reason to abandon the concept—it is a reason to validate or revise those elements before committing to the full build.
If you want a professional view on whether your concept has the commercial foundations to succeed -- and specifically what it would take to get it to a fundable or launchable position -- that is exactly what a free consultation covers.
